Rave from PostModernPulps

Ring of Knives gives us a glimpse into what this seriescould really look like, and the prospects are fantastic. This is a creepy, violent, action-packed tale of suspense and supernatural horror. This isn'tjust weird, it's a glimpse into a dark, bizarre, and twisted world, one thatthe average person is completely unaware of...until the screaming begins. And then it's too late. If you loved the glimpses into the world of thestrange and unusual given by such shows as The Twilight Zone, Outer Limits,X-Files, and Fringe, you're going to love DEAD MAN.

  2. Glad to hear it! BTW, your homage to Airwolf was great - and hilarious! Really took me back to the days of yore.

  3. Hah - glad you liked it. Those 80's action shows were so badass when you were a kid, and still at least entertaining as an adult.

  4. It's true! All it takes is a few seconds of playing that Intro, and I'm eleven again with big eyes, pounding heart, and a bowl of popcorn in my lap. Airwolf had it all over Blue Thunder... that hoarse scream it would make when shooting across the desert made it seem more like a dragon than a copter. What a great concept.

  5. Absolutely. And Knight Rider? Puh-leaze. As I stated, hey, K.I.T.T, can you lay waste to an entire armed compound and kill dozens of dudes in a handful of seconds? I think not.

  6. "...Because you're unarmed. Like a little bitch."

    Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

So true, though: KITT was little more than a containment unit for Hasselhoff's hairloaf. KITT couldn't even drop spiky things like the car in Spyhunter. And why-oh-why didn't they give KITT a sexy female voice, preferably British? It's like if Moneypenny were a 40-yr-old man from Jersey. Just...not...the same.

  7. Not to mention that Michael Knight subscribed to the lame-ass "I'll just beat you up" school of 80's action television stars, but without the McGyver technical awesomeness or the "We're wanted by the government and can't leave a trail of bodies" reasoning of the A-Team.

In short, he was a fro-sporting wimp.
